We are seeking a professional, organized and self-motivated team player who can thrive in an intimate, but very fast-growing firm in the South Florida area or remote. Candidates must be good at multi-tasking, organized, energetic, eager to learn, cheerful, and also be comfortable in a fast-paced environment. The Designer will contribute to the success of the firm by assisting with all aspects of design development, sourcing, meeting preparation, technical drawings, and site visits.

Job Description:
Work directly with the principal and other designers on all phases of residential and/or commercial design projects concurrently at a variety of scales and budgets. Responsibilities would include developing concept designs, sourcing FF&E, developing budgets and digital presentations, placing orders, communicating with vendors to project installations and styling. Designers may be responsible for technical CAD drawings and renderings as required.
Requirements:
-
1 to 5 years professional experience in residential, commercial and/or hospitality design

Must be a graduate of an accredited Interior Design or Interior Architecture program with studio curriculum

Strong FF&E knowledge and extensive furnishings sources
-
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator)

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
-
Proficiency in AutoCAD and Sketch Up
-
Proficiency in Google Suite (Slides, Sheets, Docs)
-
SketchUp and rendering skills a plus
-
Strong attention to detail regarding design, communication and project execution

Ability to adhere to schedules and deadlines on multiple concurrent projects while producing high quality, accurate work

Knowledge of New York City and Miami design resources a plus
Compensation
Hourly design work
